Outstanding service and an inviting atmosphere make Fried Green a must stop while in downtown historic Galena, Illinois. Fried Green Tomatoes is the place for steak, fresh scallops, and homemade lasagna. Reservations accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a multi-level dining facility in a historic downtown building. For the dining enjoyment for all of our guests, we do not provide highchairs or booster seats.

    Our waitress was so friendly and always smiling. Very attentive as well. Food was outstanding as usual. Our new favorite starter is the sweet chili shrimp - so good.

    As usual, superior food, service, and ambiance. It continues to be the best Galena has to offer. We will return again and again. Our compliments to the Chef, the kitchen staff, the servers, and of course, the owner, Fred Bonnet for another excellent dining experience.     Excellent food and amazing service! The espresso steak is incredible and cooked perfect every time and the Creme Brulee is sooooo good! Best service in the city! Perfect place to celebrate a special occasion.
