Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Wellesley

Fantastic new addition to Wellesley dining! Cauliflower Au Gratin and Pasta with mushrooms and truffle delicious. A perfect Vesper Martini. Attentive staff. Love the space rehabbed from a CVS.. the barrel vault ceiling gives it a modern Italian vibe. Large upbeat bar scene makes you want to come back and just hang out. Best of all.. plenty of space between tables and up tempo music so you cannot have a neighboring table eaves dropping. My one pet peeve is businesses that cram tables too close together and a party of two has no privacy. Not the case here. Thankfully they have thought of everything at Black and Blue.

They do one thing, and they do it very well. Terrific aervice. Apple pie was wonderful.

First time at Branch Line. Ambience is very nice, modern and open but visually appealing. Service was excellent; knowledgeable and helpful wait-staff. Food came quickly and was nicely cooked, e.g. fish nice and soft, moist but completely done. Sauces were savory and not too salty. Delicious hot chocolate brownie dessert. Wine list is interesting and reasonably priced. My only issue is that it is pretty noisy, so don't plan on a quiet, intimate conversation. Else, definitely worth the money.

First visit, loved it. They did a lot of work from what was there prior, looked great. We had the calamari & shrimp appetizer which was great. I had the bolognese and my wife had the salmon, both were great. We had a lemon cake desert which was fabulous. Service was great, as were the drinks. We highly recommend the place and we will be back.

The food was delicious and our waiter was wonderful! We were there to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The waiter (I believe his name was Nate) picked up on that and brought her three ice cream bon bon’s to help celebrate! Nice touches like that keep us coming back to Legal’s,
