Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Mid-Wilshire

Our favorite neighborhood spot. The food is always extraordinary. We had couple of less than stellar experiences out of many the were, in fact, stellar. Lately and especially yesterday, the experience was fantastic. Everyone was friendly. The service was paced perfectly. We took friends from out of town to experience Saffy’s and they could not stop raving about every dish. We all had a hard time picking the best of the night. Great spot. Highly recommended. RG.

Service was impeccable. Catered to our taste as needed. Tried a few wines until we found something that worked. Very attentive service though out.

Always a wonderful experience. Food and services are exceptional. I travel to LA on business frequently and they make me feel welcome as a solo diner. There is always a warm welcome by the entire team and my preferences are remembered.

I said we were celebrity a birthday…no mention of anything from checking even as I paid the bill. They sat us in the very back, outside area. T I still have 4 stars, but not what I expected. Service was nice, but didn’t smile once til we paid the bill. The people helping him were very helpful and we ended up asking them for drinks and refills etc instead. We never got a receipt although we asked. * the lunch menu changed since a couple week ago also. It went up in price and the desert was removed making it a 2 course special instead of 3. Overall good food.

Only drawback.. wish the maitre’d took action to stop 2 children from continously running around the restaurant, not only for the safety issue of hot plates & knives, but these kids were a nuisance! It was a Chinese family, the parents could care less (typical behavior) & really partition ruined our parties vibe. I was ready to make a move to tell off the parents but held back.. we’re not at IHOP for christs sake! The host did see this happening , it’s a small restaurant, but did nothing about it. Hopefully this will not happen again! Btw I’m Asian myself & see this type of wanton disregard by Chinese parents in regards to their children’s behavior on planes, cruises, trains etc… I’ve seen it one too many times, never thought I’d see it at this type of establishment…it’s disgusting & pathetic behavior!
