- JJanWashington, D.C. Area •48 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoAnother delightful Thanksgiving dinner at La Bise. It was a toss-up as to which starter was better: the roasted leeks with sauce beurre blanc or the pate de foie gras. The mains, turkey roulade and steak frites, were their usual excellent offerings. And the desserts, pumpkin mousse pie and carrot cake were decadent endings. The staff was attentive and willing to substitute sorbet for dessert for one of our group who (wisely) realized he'd be too full to enjoy cake or pie. We'll have to find an opportunity to return before next Thanksgiving!More infoLa BisePrice: Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7

- FFoodiWashington, D.C. Area •20 reviews5.0Dined on 16 Dec 2013Had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. We sat at the counter and were able to watch the chef make everything. Since we went on a Monday, wine was market price, so we enjoyed the salmon special and pork chop with a bottle of wine. Too bad they're closing the restaurant portion, because we would definitely go back. Looking forward to taking some cooking classes there though!More infoOpen KitchenPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Falls Church•4.2
