We've always enjoyed the open flame of the wood burning oven. It's a perfect space to enjoy a calm dinner with family or friends. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a rustic Italian dinner.More infochi SPACCAPrice: Very Expensive• Italian• Hollywood•4.8

Their pizza is great and we enjoyed their mixed drinks also. Great service and nice ambiance. It does get very crowded at around 6pm, but we get there at around 5:30, so we get seated immediately, especially with reservations. We will be back.More infoJemma HollywoodPrice: Expensive• Italian• Hollywood•4.6
- KKarenvipLos Angeles •9 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoI've now been here two times and the food has been excellent overall. I could personally do without the frequent use of chili slices. Other than that, the flavors and textures are marvelous. The brioche bread and hummus are delectable. I feel like every dish is a slam dunk - too bad there isn't a sampler platter! The decor is lovely, a few discreet fabric panels might help with the noise as its a bit hard to hear the people across from you - the sound bounces around the cavernous space. The crowd seems very chic, a bit eccentric in a fun way and more adult - that's probably the price point keeping out the under 30 crowd.More infoSaffy'sPrice: Expensive• Middle Eastern• East Hollywood•4.8
- IIraPhiladelphia County •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoShirley Brasserie was a wonderful dining experience that paired the great atmosphere of the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel with great food. The Restaurant occupies a quiet part of the Lobby area and is large enough to find seating but intimate enough to feel separated from other diners. The menu is spartan but focused, as is the wine list. The appetizers we had were first-rate and handsomely presented. I would recommend the chicken liver mousse, as it was special and hadn't seen it elsewhere. I consider myself an expert on duck and generally prefer it roasted, as many restaurants don't really have the expertise to properly sear it. Not true here. The duck was properly spiced and glazed and seared just right. For this style of preparation, I've not had better. The Shirley Brasserie is not inexpensive, but considering the quality of the food and service (which was also outstanding), I would rate it as a good value. Something for a special occasion.More infoShirley BrasseriePrice: Expensive• French American• Hollywood•4.6
