Best Open Kitchen Restaurants in Downtown Cleveland / E. 4th Street

I brought my brother and his best friend here for a little holiday luncheon and gift exchange. I come to The Burnham frequently for lunch and I have been to dinner there several times. It was very quiet this afternoon and not a lot of folks in the restaurant. It was quiet, the holiday ambiance and decorations were great. The food was outstanding as usual. My brother had a caesar salad and the fried chicken sandwich, his friend had the pot roast sandwich with French fries and I had a Caesar salad and a pepperoni pizza. Again, the food was outstanding, but I think $23 for the pizza is just a little steep, especially for it being a thinner crust pizza. Don’t get me wrong - it was delicious — just slightly overpriced. I do realize that restaurants in hotels like the Hilton do have higher prices; although I am willing to pay for good food. Our server was outstanding (I am sorry, I can’t remember his name, but he was incredibly helpful and provided outstanding service). All in all - it was an A+ experience.

Amazing experience in the Igloo! It was decorated SO tastefully and it was very comfortable. They had adorable lights and a heater and music!

Server, Dawn, outstanding. Helped us choose entree. Happy to split porterhouse steak cooked perfectly. Paired a great Italian red. Super unusual salad. There is a chefs table (bar seat) overlooking kitchen. We will try that next time. Manager attentive as well. Was a great Christmas Eve dinner.

A hidden gem we’ve been wanting to try. Our server was very nice and the flavors in the dishes were amazing. Honestly, not one complaint besides not having the wine we wanted lol but we found a great substitute! Can’t wait to come back.

Lunch was great - all of us ordered different salads with the add-on crab cake. The salads were good and the crab cake was perfect - crispy edges, not a lot of filler, and delicious! Our waiter was attentive and inconspicuous at the same time.
