Opened in April 2024 by a family that has been operating restaurants in and around Old Town for almost 50 years. Located in the heart of Old Town, Mystic has a diverse menu featuring Texas style smoked brisket, baby rack ribs & Carolina pulled pork. Meats are smoked low & slow in BBQ champion Myron Mixon's signature smoker that is front and center in our open kitchen. The food was outstanding. The pizzas and chicken Parmigiana were really good. We had the apple donuts and warm chocolate cake for dessert. Service was impeccable and the ambience is really nice.

We had a Great dinner there for my birthday. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Curry, Indian Salad, Bhaingan Bharta, Aloo Gobi, Garlic Naan. It was WAY too much food for 2 of us but I wanted to try a bunch of my favorites. Everything came out hot (except the salad of course!) and tasted wonderful. We got “medium” spicy level and I felt we could have easily gone to “hot”. The staff was wonderful and also gave me a sweet birthday treat at the end. If we end up back in Alexandria we’d definitely go back.

Had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious and the service was great. We sat at the counter and were able to watch the chef make everything. Since we went on a Monday, wine was market price, so we enjoyed the salmon special and pork chop with a bottle of wine. Too bad they're closing the restaurant portion, because we would definitely go back. Looking forward to taking some cooking classes there though!
