Best Restaurants with a Notable Wine List in Wauwatosa

Every so often you have a great meal but an even better dining experience and last night at 5’0clock Steak House was one of those times. Holiday vibes and spirit abound The front of house staff Tom Hagel and Debbie gave us the warmest greeting and then Luce and Wally proceeded to pour us 2 stiff drinks that got the ball rolling. Our waiter David came over for our order then escorted us to our table while the kitchen cooked us up a delicious feast. Bone in filet Ribs fries mashed asparagus. It’s so consistently good it’s unbelievable. If you’ve never been get over there and treat yourself family or friends to a phenomenal evening of food drinks and fun

The restaurant was not too busy (just before Christmas). But the service was incredibly wonderful. Steaks were excellent. Asparagus cooked exactly to crisp yet edible. Loaded baked potato was great. The Brandy Old-Fashioned Sweet was THE BEST I’ve ever had. Highly recommend for a special occasion or a last second dinner choice.

First of all I must compliment our server, Samantha L., she was delightful. She gave us the specials & also the history on the Harbor Burger. I must confess we are not big fans of seafood & since it was lunch time ordered the burgers—they were awesome along with the fries. We love looking out at the Lake Michigan.

I'm more of a local independent restaurant guy with supporting creative local people, but once in a while, I can't resist the best chain restaurant in the country, Milwaukee's Capital Grille. Wow, outstanding service, food, atmosphere. Wine list could use some help with older vintages and hard to find stuff like Brunello, Barolo, Bordeaux, Phillip Togni Cabs, Keenan Reserves.

As always we had an excellent experience! Great service and atmosphere.
