Best Live Music Restaurants in Downtown / Union Square

First, our server was very nice and explained the menu and answered our questions. She was very attentive all night. The bone in filet was awesome as was the creamed spinach side. Wine by the glass price and pour were good.

We had a great time! It’s an elegant place. There were some mixups with the food but it was thanksgiving and they may have been short staffed

Although it was Thanksgiving we decided to order from the menu, and we have no regrets! Our wonderful waitress recommended I have the lamb chops (stating they were the best thing on the menu)…and they were superb! My husband had the surf and turf, but honestly we would order just the steak next time! We started our meal with the prawn cocktail (fabulous) and the lobster ravioli (too salty for our taste). What a wonderful restaurant, live music with a singer, and a table for 5 just close enough. Several stations, as it was Thanksgiving. Salads, pastas, great veggies and excellent turkey, roast beef and porchetta. Delicious desserts. And wonderful wines, all included. Excellent and attentive service from all staff, a great start to the Holidays. Enjoy!

A group of us, 8 in all, visited the Top of the Mark this past Saturday, Nov 16, 2024, and had an absolutely terrific time dancing and listening to Carla Helmbrecht (what talent!). The dance floor was filled with peeps (we loved dancing to "Fly Me To The Moon" and "The Way You Look Tonight"! The view on the 19th floor was breathtaking. The sky was perfectly clear and we could see bridge to bridge, Salesforce Tower, the Pyramid, Sutro Tower, Alcatraz - amazing! The table service was attentive without being intrusive, as always. The appetizers and cocktails were deeeelish. We've been going to the Top of the Mark for over 15 years and it hasn't lost one step in charm and fun. A great spot for date night, a party, as special gathering or an evening, solo!
