Best Live Music Restaurants in Southington

The Flying Monkey is a great place and fun! Food is delicious, a very cozy ambiance—one side of the restaurant host great bands and musicians on certain days and the staff’s very attentive! This is a must visit for any food lover!

The food and service were outstanding! You can get lost in all of the wonderful offerings in their store. Such a great idea to eat in such a lovely ambiance. Our food was beautifully plated and delicious. We opted to eat half our servings in order to try some of their desserts! We were not disappointed! And we got our leftovers packed away to eat later. This was a beautiful experience from start to finish... We will be back soon!

Great location and property. Excellent ambiance and vibe. Piano music in the pub before dinner. Decorated beautifully. Popcorn for early snack. Dinner in the timeless Steamboat room. Excellent and diverse menu. Food was very good. After dinner had a classic 60s trio band playing. Great sound. Was a great Valentine’s Day dinner. Only draw back was the service. Specifically the bar. Took forever to get a drink. Bar tender was surly with limited sense of urgency and lots of attitude. This was when the bar crowd was small. As the evening progressed it become significantly worse. I can’t imagine how much revenue was lost by the establishment due to these inefficiencies. Overall our experience was very positive.

Nice atmosphere with a live band playing in the bar area, which could be heard in the dining room where we sat. Food was delicious & generous portions. Service was great! Server was attentive, but we didn’t feel rushed through our meal. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful experience overall, ambience, service, food all very good. A tad difficult to converse because of background noise, but not terribly so. Prices quite high, but in line with other restaurants of this caliber. Would definitely recommend.
