- GGregoryVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •33 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFinally a top notch experience. I’ve been there many times before with tourists and others but this was a date, a real date. The Mai Tais were delicious as was the poke appetizer. Both the basil chicken and salmon were very good, the portion size generous. The entertainment was old time tiki bar. The service was efficient, professional and friendly. The setting? There’s only one Tonga Room, the one that we old time San Franciscans can appreciate.More infoTonga Room & Hurricane Bar - Fairmont San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Asian• Nob Hill•3.9

We had a table for two next to a large group of young people by the piano and base player so the sound level was loud. After the large group left we could hear each other talk and the music much better. The service was impeccable. The food was very good . The entrance is located down an alley. The young people were dressed very casually but everyone else was dressed up a little. Over all it was a great experience.More infoBIXPrice: Expensive• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.7

- MMackenzieSan Francisco Bay Area •3 reviews5.0Dined on 29 Dec 2024We had a wonderful experience enjoying holiday tea at the Claremont Hotel. It is a pricey treat, but we really enjoyed every minute. The rainy day outside made the vibe even more cozy and comfortable. Food was lovely and enjoyable and varied. Tea was really magical! Hope to do again someday.More infoClaremont Lobby BarPrice: Very Expensive• American• Berkeley•4.7
