Few places exceed expectations set for a newer restaurant but this was my experience on my first dinner at La Grande Boucherie. Filled to capacity for Thanksgiving, the service didn't suffer, the wine list well matched to the menu, and the food was perfectly prepared. The steak melts in your mouth, the French onion soup better than Paris, and oysters fresh, plump, and perfectly chilled. Outstanding. But nothing prepares you for the breathtaking ambiance! The sweeping staircase, magnificent Beaux Arts interior- you might think you're in Paris!

My wife and I went to Prime Rib in Washington DC. The prime rib was fantastic as was the traditional Thanksgiving Dinner. The ambience, food and service were terrific. Our server, Tony Grant was absolutely top notch and extremely professional. Only other comment is that the portion size of salads and deserts could be larger. Overall all excellent.

Absolutely outstanding food. So full of flavor. I've had saag 100 times at different Indian restaurants, but this was definitely the best. However, the clear winner of the night was the dal. cooked for 16 hours and with incredible floavor. Also the best i have had. Our waiter was very nice but he did have few problems remembering what we ordered, but it just meant that there was an additional dish to share. Very highly recommended.
