It is our way of setting aside a special treat time for our family once the Christmas buying rush is over and The Palm Court does not disappoint. The choice of teas is broad and the scones warm. Each edible was well presented, fresh and tasty. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Loved the harpist and singers in old world garb. And don’t miss the 50% off Christmas baubles in the downstairs gift shop. Our only quibbles were with the closeness of the tables and noise level. The room was packed, a tribute to its popularity. Best high tea in Chicago.More infoThe Palm CourtPrice: Very Expensive• Afternoon Tea• Gold Coast / Streeterville•4.6

They check all the boxes and do so to be among the top 5 in my book. Thanks to the crew there for helping my family get out the door quickly for a play last night!More infoMastro's Steakhouse - ChicagoPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• River North (Chicago)•4.6

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was pleasant, not noisy, and the temperature of the room was perfect. The service was really excellent, we did not wait for anything, and I changed my one order and they were very kind in doing that. My one observation was the attentiveness of the servers was too quick at times with, for instance, my coffee was removed before I was finished. The baklava is excellent. I highly recommend Turquoise Cafe.More infoTurquoisePrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Roscoe Village•4.7

I especially loved the Turkish coffee!More infoEliaPrice: Moderate• Mediterranean• Bucktown / Wicker Park•4.5
