Since 1746, the building that houses this tavern has played a part in the establishment of our nation; first as a respite for stagecoach travelers expanding westward and later as a covert rendezvous point for George Washington, Marquis de Lafayette, and other leaders of the American revolution. It is believed that during the infamous winter of 1777–1778 at Valley Forge, a major figure in the Continental Army, master military mind Friedrich Von Steuben, designated the tavern as a secret black powder munitions stash for Continental Army couriers. All the while, the tavern continued to provide food, shelter and cheer to the hungry, weary soldiers fighting for their independence. Today, we honor our historic tavern’s tradition with a mission to raise the spirits of our guests. Went to Sullivan’s for Thanksgiving and everything was great! They had a thanksgiving menu as well as their regular menu but I wanted a turkey dinner and I was not disappointed. Food was delicious and our waiter, Justin, was awesome. Personable, attentive, very friendly. I’d definitely go back anytime!

Booked last minute on Thanksgiving as a family member was sick so we canceled our original plans. We had to wait about 15-20 minutes after our reservation time but once we sat down, our waiter Zach was very attentive and we had a nice dining experience. Since it was my 3rd or 4th time I will say, Eddie V's food very is consistently good, there are things I would recommend, and a couple things I would not order again, but definitely would not deter me from returning. And I appreciate those who came to work yesterday so my family could enjoy a good, relaxing meal at a fine establishment.

We discovered 118 North September 2024 and have gone to 4 shows with the new years show up next. Lots of fun! Bar food is ok and service is about what you’d expect in a crowded venue like this.
