Best Restaurants with Great Beer in Wheaton

We love this establishment. The food and beer are great! The servers are so friendly and helpful, just the Best! Even the presentation of the food is great.

The German food is excellent! We truly enjoy our visits. The entertainment is simple and the accordionist was very engaging and happy. The ambience is reminiscent of a bierstube. All around great experience.

First time here and it was wonderful! Service was great, quick, attentive and friendly. Really enjoyed the holiday decor. Two guests had the Saturday special of ribs which were slightly dry but tasted good, one had the chicken pot pie and I had the warm harvest salad both were excellent. We don’t live in the area but will definitely travel back.

Everything was great as usual. I really enjoy the vast beer selection. The food quality always exceeds my expectations. The only complaint is the 3% service charge for using a credit card. I understand they are only passing along the bank charge. I also think this is better than a flat charge for everyone as they have done in the past. I prefer to use a credit card and do not want to see these charges everywhere so that is why I rated 4 stars as opposed to 5. I recommend they absorb the charge as the cost of doing business and raise prices as needed.

We had never been here before. We were very happy with everything. The food was beautifully presented and delicious. The waiter was friendly and efficient. We liked the way the window completely opened to the outside and we could see trees and the trains behind them. The trains were not too loud. The wooden seats were a little uncomfortable after a while. We enjoyed the ambience.
