Best Restaurants with Great Beer in North Wales

Great experience at Iron Hill Brewery. Service was excellent. (Thank you Matt) Food was prepared and served hot and very tasty. Atmosphere was excellent, able to have great conversations. Not too loud. We had a small reunion of 10 people from college. Matt was more than accommodating. Would definitely go back to this place. I give it an A+.

I love this place. I go here every time I'm in Philadelphia. I was given this recommendation years ago and have told many people about this. The decor and ambiance are so nice and relaxing and the food is fabulous. The staff are friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend!

Butcher bar was great. Went with friends for a birthday. Was a festive feeling for the holidays and food was great.

Arrived an hour early for our reservation but we sat at the lovely bar and ordered apps; onion rings and pretzel. Both very good. Our table was ready before the apps arrived so they were brought to our table. My salmon and broccolini were delicious. Vanilla rice pudding to cap it off. Yummy. Unfortunately the coffee was not hot but that was the only minor thing. Will go back!!

We have been to the Washington House twice in the past 3 months. Once for dinner, and once for lunch. Both experiences were excellent. Visits to other establishments over this same time period have been disappointing. Meals at these establishments were "okay" and prices were high, so we expected something special. Not at the Washington House. Food and prices are good. The Washington House offers many choices and each has a special touch - maybe the sauce, maybe the sides, maybe the entree choice. The special today was Chilean sea bass with risotto, and the other meal we had was salmon and shrimp, with Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer. All food was prepared well and the sauces were light and very tasty. We like to order something that we might not prepare at home and we were not disappointed.
