Best Restaurants with Great Beer in New Westminster

Great funky restaurant in a restored warehouse. The area is not great but it’s worth a trip to this excellent restaurant.

My mom and I have been dining at Uli’s for years and always have a good experience. Food and service are usually good. Today our server was exceptional. Emma B was the best server I’ve not only had at Uli’s but in general, in a long time. She was helpful and attentive without being overbearing, warm, chatty and clearly knowledgeable and fond of the place she worked. She cares and it’s evident from how she engaged with us and the other guests. Bravo Emma, I hope this review makes its way to you and your superiors and that you receive the recognition and appreciation that you deserve.

Service was very good. The happy hour specials were very good value. I’ve had better fish and chips. The manager was very kind as we waited until after the Monday night football game as there was a problem with their win a jersey draw and we were awarded for a patient with a Tyreek Hill Miami dolphins jersey .

We were a large group with young children and teens and half of us arrived late. The staff were very accommodating and patient with us. The food was excellent, the service was amazing. Always happy at tap n barrels. Keep up the great work!

we ordered burgers and mac n cheese and they were all amazing! also the dessert and the cocktail!! shout out to our server ( didn’t know the name, the boy with the curly hair ) we were upstairs! he was amazing, and friendly!! thank you very much’ definitely will come back soon!! 🤍👋
