- MMichaelVirginia •43 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoWhat an amazing place! My partner picked it out for dinner after a Boston concert but our first visit. Friendly greeting up front. Cozy booth. I had incredible clam chowder with lots of clams, delicious, perfect. Our trio shared 8 oysters, two kinds, they have at least 8 varieties. Aldo, very tasty hush puppies, hard to find in Yankee land. My entree was lobster Mac and cheese with quite a bit of lobster. Hot, filling, delicious, some takeout in our fridge. A large heaping portion in a cast iron skillet extensive wine and beer list.More infoThe Hourly Oyster HousePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Cambridge•4.7
- LLeslieVIPGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoLove this place. Food is great and staff are so kind and attentive. Not sure why they cram tables so close to door. I get wanting to maximize space but makes for an unpleasant experience on what would otherwise be so great.More infoWest End Johnnie'sPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Faneuil Hall•4.6
- KKarenVIPGreater Boston •55 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoA warm, welcoming atmosphere at Vee Vee is set by a lot of cozy wood, warm colors and art. The warmth continued with our server, who was friendly and gave good advice when asked. As a group of four, we were able to try many dishes, and all were quite tasty. Most were mildly or moderately spicy, none strongly so; all were very flavorful. Personally, I enjoyed the beef birria tacos and the street corn the most. As a dessert lover, I also appreciated having several good choices to share as an end the meal. The beverage menu offered good options for wine, beer and cider. Including our two desserts, we shared 9 dishes among four of us, and left feeling quite sated. I felt the cost of the meal was quite reasonable for the overall high quality of food and drink. The pacing of the meal was just right. We’ll be back!More infoVee VeePrice: Expensive• American• Jamaica Plain•4.8
- DDonnaGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined on 6 Dec 2024First time at State Street Provisions. Had reservations for a high top table and was sat directly across from the bar and next to host stand. Perfect table for the two of us. Service was good. We both had the burger, fries, salad and heirloom carrots and all of it was delicious. The burger was my favorite! Flavors were yummy and cooked to perfection - medium rare. While I never order American cheese, it’s what came with the burger and it worked! Even the bun was delicious. I had the Pemberley cocktail. Don’t drink gin too often but boy was this delicious! We ended dinner with the Abuelita Panna Cota for dessert. It was tasty, just the right amount of sweetness! Great vibe in the bar area. Lights down low and tasteful Christmas decorations, warm and cozy. Will definitely go back!More infoState Street ProvisionsPrice: Moderate• American• Financial District•4.6
