Best Restaurants with Great Beer in East Petersburg

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Everyone walking by checked in on us. The beer flight was great as well as the halibut with risotto and the chicken lettuce wraps. Beautifully decorated and a great atmosphere.

This restaurant has changed their dining experience several times over the past 35 years, but it remains the same family owned business from the beginning. This most recent renovation is a winner. Just a few miles from the Devon Horse Show venue on the Main Line, The Jockey Tavern is a warm and inviting restaurant with a gas fireplace in the bar area and comfortable, upscale pub seating in the main restaurant; it feels like your sitting in a country club clubhouse dining room. The cocktails were perfect and the meal was delicious. My dinner guest started with the bacon wrapped shrimp and had the Lobster ravioli with scallops as her entree. I enjoyed the Tomahawk Pork Chop which was juicy all the way through (pork can get dry if not served correctly). We finished the night sharing a tart slice of Key Lime Pie. The prices were moderate and the waitstaff was exceptional. Our server Anna was amazing and we enjoyed speaking with her throughout the night. This was our second time dining at the Jockey Tavern and we will be back again, I highly recommend the place.

I had the brewben sandwich which would have been good had it not been cold when delivered. I have noticed that since the menu changed the food is not as good. The only constant is the pretzel app, which is still very good. In addition, the service has really been lacking over the last few months. The staff we have encountered lately don't seem to care about customer satisfaction. Used to be a favorite spot to go.

Our choice of dinner menu was excellent, enjoyed our meal & drinks. Our waitress was top notch. Glad to have the Scallops & Risotto back on the menu for Valentine's Day!

Super friendly and efficient service in a comfy atmosphere with yummy comfort food on this chilly eve. We loved the chicken & leek pie, shepard’s pie & the wings. We’ll definitely return!
