The atmosphere was quiet and relaxed, which was nice for an early evening out. We decided to take advantage of their "Appy Hour" menu (weekdays 5-7 pm), offering half-priced appetizers. We ordered oysters, the flatbread with prosciutto, and four drinks. The food and drinks were excellent, especially the oysters and flatbread. However, we were charged full price for the appetizers, and unfortunately, we didn’t realize it until after we left. A small oversight on our part, but it’s worth mentioning—be sure to double-check your bill. The only other hiccup was the temperature; it was a bit chilly inside until about 7 pm. That said, it’s a cool spot with a nice vibe, and the quality of the food and drinks made up for the small inconveniences.More infoNeedle & ThreadPrice: Moderate• Cocktail Bar• Providence•4.7

It was the perfect venue for Richard and I to bring my mother to so that she could take part in this sacred Italian tradition; and enjoy it she did!! The easy in and out of the location proved super easy for her and the decor was upscale sophistication. The food was plentiful and tastefully prepared. Their version of the seven fishes began with a dish that consisted of-baccala salad, snail salad, calamari and the most tasty smelts ever. The next dish was the perfectly al dente spaghetti and clams. The last course was broiled cod, baked stuffed shrimp and broccoli rabe. We were so full that we did not have room for desert at that moment. However, for those who have been to Pane E Vino, you know how delectable their bread pudding is; so we did get three orders to take home🤗. It was a special evening being able to share this tradition with my mother as I have for the past 67 years❤️.More infoBar Lino RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Johnston•4.6
