- MMarshaLos Angeles •12 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had a delightful lunch in a beautiful room. The service, food and the front check in desk (thanks Brooke) were all wonderful. The Culver Hotel is a part of history and the decor is great. We will return.More infoLillie's at The Culver HotelPrice: Expensive• French American• Culver City•4.4
- DDianeVIPIdaho •92 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThe food here was wonderful. We had tableside guacamole made, and it was yummy. It was enough for four people, and we even had some leftover. We had a plain cheese, quesadilla, shrimp, fajita salad, which again was made table side, and two orders of the Carnitas. The Carnitas were the best we’ve ever had. We would definitely recommend this restaurant. And of course, the margaritas were yummy as well. More infoEl Torito - HawthornePrice: Moderate• Mexican• Manhattan Beach•4.9
- SsusanVIPLos Angeles •11 reviews5.0Dined on 25 Dec 2024Had Christmas Eve dinner at Tin Roof Bistro. We were seated promptly and food and service were delightful as always except for one thing: My husband ordered the special dessert of Bread Pudding. It really wasn't as described, and looked like we got the last bit of the pan it was baked in. There was almost no moisture - very little custard, no apples or cranberries, just a lot of toasted bread cubes, some burnt. We asked the waiter where was the fruit and rather than bringing us a proper portion from a new pan, he brought a ramekin of cranberries to add to it. Too bad - we saw another table's bread pudding and it looked amazing. If you are running out of a special, best to 86 it rather than try and scrape out one more substandard serving.More infoTin Roof BistroPrice: Moderate• American• Manhattan Beach•4.8

- RRachaelNew York City •4 reviews5.0Dined on 28 Nov 2024Joliet is, without a doubt, the best spot in LA for whatever it is you're looking for. My boyfriend and I are absolutely obsessed with it - when a group of our friends decided to have a night out the 6 of us, we came to Joliet and there is something perfect for everyone. By day, it is the cutest spot for coffee, tea, a dirty chai, a pastry, and/or a sandwich. I recommend bringing your laptop or a book and staying a while, striking up a conversation with Alejandro or Olivia at the bar, and trying one or several of their fantastic options. You TRULY cannot go wrong. I had a pistachio croissant that absolutely changed my life. The egg sandwich made my jaw drop. Come nighttime, Joliet is a sexy speakeasy that boasts outstanding cocktails, great music, date-night ambience, and a whole different menu of mouthwatering options. My boyfriend loves the lobster roll, and I am obsessed with the mezze platter. The espresso martini is elevated and vibrant, and the spicy marg was better than imagined. Alejandro's attention to detail is incredibly extraordinary - he adds a special touch to everything he does, whether it's shaving an extra layer of cheese on your sandwich, or adding a cute little flower to your cocktail, or just taking the time to get to know you, it's really such a special experience.More infoJoliet Cafe and BarPrice: Moderate• Italian• Playa Vista•4.3
