While this wasn’t our first time dining here, it was our first time bringing a baby, and the experience was still amazing. The food NEVER misses—every dish is always perfectly crafted—and the service is consistently top-notch. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a casual dinner, this place always delivers. Highly recommend!More infoTrattoria SofiaPrice: Expensive• Italian• Heights / Washington•4.6

- PPaulVIPHouston •65 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoDining at Amore was a treat. I think my Chilean Sea Bass was the best I have eaten in Houston. My fried artichoke was excellent as usual although the stem was inedible because this is not the best season for artichokes. My wifes regala seafood dish was also very good. The prices are reasonable for white table cloth dining and service was attentive but not intrusive. My only minor complaint was that the music was a bit too loud. I'm not sure why restaurants feel the need for loud music that drowns out conversation. Also, why does an Italian or French or Japanese restaurant see the need to play American pop music. I never returned to one restaurant which served good food because their music was rock played at an ear splitting volume. I will not ever return to one of the new one star Michelin restaurants because they refused to lower the volume of their pop music which was culturally at odds with their cuisine.More infoAMORE Italian RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Italian• Upper Kirby / Shepherd Corridor•4.7
