- BBrookeNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI recently dined at Osteria Umbra, an Italian-inspired restaurant that promises an experience of rustic elegance combined with hearty, perfectly cooked meats. The ambiance strikes a wonderful balance between sophisticated and cozy: dim lighting, exposed brick, and antique wood paneling give the place a warm, inviting feel, while the flicker of candlelight on each table adds a romantic touch. There’s an Italian charm to the space, yet it still feels like a true Italian steakhouse in all the right ways.More infoOsteria UmbraPrice: Expensive• Italian• Smithtown•4.9
- LLorraineVIPNew York City •50 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe absolutely loved your afternoon tea. The sandwiches were delicious! My favorite was the beet and goat cheese. I am not a truffle lover, but I did enjoy the egg salad sandwich with a hint of truffles. It was not overdone, it was just right. I loved the scones, especially with the fig jam and clotted cream. I prefer savory over sweets at an afternoon tea. I find many places do far too many sweets. You had just enough to complement the sandwiches. If I may, I would like to suggest the addition of Darjeeling to your teas. They do call it the King of Teas, after all. It is very different from English Breakfast and Earl Grey, both of which are blended teas. I feel Darjeeling would really complement your lovely afternoon tea. Thank you for a lovely afternoon, Sincerely, Lorraine PaganoMore infoArtisanPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Southport•4.7
- PPamVIPNew York City •8 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024Love the change to a price fixe or chefs tasting menu. We went for Christmas Eve and loved the experience. We had a great server, love the ambiance and the food was delicious and innovative. The price fixe is three courses, but they give you more to try. It was more than a dinner out, it was an experience. I highly recommend.More infoThe EssexPrice: Expensive• American• Old Saybrook•4.8

Crème brûlée was the best I have ever had and I order it frequently. It was such a lovely experience! Staff was smiling, food was delicious, gorgeous sunset. Booked it on a whim and it turned out to be a very special evening.More infoThe Wharf-Madison Beach HotelPrice: Expensive• Unspecified• Madison•4.7
