Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in South San Francisco

Excellent food and attentive service. Fun evening that started at the bar with great cocktails and conversation with the bartenders. We enjoyed our meal in the private room with just one other table being served. Great night!

Always consistently great. Fast service, wonderful ambiance. A family favorite since they opened years ago.

The people who run this restaurant are so accommodating and eager to please. Food is very good with lots of options from which to choose. I love their pita bread and the house-made condiment that comes with it. The dolmas are excellent. The location is really convenient to Union Square and to the SF Playhouse. Be sure to try one of the desserts.

Wow! We greatly enjoyed our Christmas Eve meal. We had a late seating and is typical during the Holidays. reservations were running a little late. No problem, our host walked us to the bar and saw that we were comfortably seated and introduced us to our bartender Jim -- who was great! Our dinner was excellent, all of our courses arrived in a timely manner and were well prepared. All the staff were both friendly and professional and added to our dining experience. The dining is beautiful any time of year, but especially for the Christmas Holiday.

Amazing from start to finish. Burrata and crudo were are favorite apps. Pizzas are all incredible. Reminds me of traveling through Italy. Finally a great spot without having to drive to the city!
