I would classify this restaurant as a historic fine-dining supper club. The staff were wonderful and the restaurant was beautifully decorated and clean. They even hand-wrote a card for my wife's birthday and the servers all signed it and had it all displayed on the table before we even arrived. We had the walleye, perch, and beef stroganoff with cheese curds and French onion soup appetizers. There was even a relish tray with sourdough crackers, cheese spread, olives, and peppers. It was all very delicious. We were treated very well and were provided with a couple of nice surprises. The food and service was and has always been exceptional. The remodel makes the check in process much more welcoming and faster. The table side Caesar salad is the best I ever had. The truffle fries appetizer had the perfect amount of truffle oil and cheese and fries were perfectly crisp. Entrees were amazing... had the lobster risotto such a huge portion with large portions of lobster. Husband had the filet bone in was so flavorful.
