Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Crestwood

Great food and good service . Last time I was here was before the pandemic at their reopening in Flossmoor. Happy to see high standards remain and highly recommend the Vegan Jambalaya.

There were five in our party, four of us had the pizza which is always delicious, oh that sweet sauce! One of us had the sautéed chicken , it was tender and flavorful, it could have fed three people. We also had the fried zucchini with ranch dressing, very yummy and crunchy , there was plenty for all five of us. Our server was excellent, we waited for nothing even though it was a busy night. Palermo’s is the gem of the southside!

This is one of the best kept little family owned restaurants in Chicago!!! Friendly, festive, good and hearty food!! It’s a ‘Cheers’ kinda place!!! If you don’t know anyone walking in you will most likely know someone walking out! Stuffed artichoke, calamari and oysters always a good start. Caesar salad is cold and crisp Gnocchi Arribiatta, eggplant parm, mart Anthony steak is fabulous!! Tirimisu and Madeline cookies for dessert!!
