Best Restaurants that are Worth The Drive in Black Hawk

Carrie, our server, was terrific and cheerful! Dennis who manned the rolling stations and prepared our Caesar salad and steak Diane, was also great. Very personable and well spoken. Loved the amuse buche and the kind woman (Lorraine?) who brought us more. The French onion soup was yummy! The lamb was a little tough and I disliked the sauce it was served on. That also made the pistachio coating fall off. But a lovely evening all around.

Buffalo burger was delicious. Brussel sprouts were super yummy.

The service and the prim rib were beyond amazing, but the Brussels sprouts left a bad taste in my mouth. They were undercooked and had a strange taste. My wife ate 1 and I gave it ye good ol’ college try, eating 3 before the disgust set in.

I had lunch there and the food was delicious. The young lady serving was very welcoming and highlighted their fall specials, which we tried. The lovely table settings and fresh flowers on the table added a touch of elegance, making lunch a special time. I would highly recommend this tea room.
