Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in University

We absolutely love coming to Esther’s, and it never fails us; it is always consistent. The food, the atmosphere, the service is always impeccable. We were surprised, we felt the duck benedict was lacking in flavor, and it was unfortunately underwhelming. They can’t all be winners, I guess! Everything else we had knocked it out of the park, as it always has the numerous times we’ve been here, new location and the old one. (The truffle polenta was one of the best things I’ve ever tasted, just FYI) The service was wonderful, and we realized at the end of the brunch our server was the same who served us Mother’s Day. She was then, and was today, an absolute joy, very attentive, and incredibly helpful. She did not need to bring biscuits out, but we couldn’t argue… they were absolutely fantastic. Thank you so much again for making another celebration at Esther’s a wonderful experience!

It was such a great experience. I heard a lot of people talk about it online and on YouTube and I had to check it out for myself. The atmosphere was amazing. The people were friendly and the food was terrific. I will definitely be coming back again the next time I’m in town.

Tableside bananas foster is a must-try!!! Incredible. Chris and David made the experience memorable for all the right reasons! Great recommendations and the wait staff was impeccable. There were several times I never noticed my water glass being refilled but magically, there was always water! It seems silly to remark on that but it was appreciated!

Unforgettable Anniversary Dinner We celebrated our wedding anniversary at Ferraro’s last night, and it was an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and intimate, perfect for a special occasion. I had the Osso Buco, which was incredibly tender and flavorful—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. My wife chose the Boar Ravioli, and she couldn’t stop raving about the rich, savory flavors. To top it all off, the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert to help us celebrate, which was a thoughtful and delicious touch. The service was impeccable, and everyone made us feel so welcome and valued. Ferraro’s exceeded our expectations in every way, and we’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommend for any special occasion or just an unforgettable meal!

The remodelling of the restaurant has created a lighter and more open environment; the food as usual was juicy and flavorful and the service very good .. we highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who enjoys spit fired meat! .. Yum Yum!!
