Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Tuckahoe

Ate there for the first time on 1/4/25. The restaurant now goes by Il Gusto. The fried calamari was perfectly cooked. The filet mignon risotto was tender and delicious the two veal dishes were tender and full of flavor. We took our mom to celebrate her 84th birthday. As an Italian born in Italy, she knows food. She asked if we could come back again! That my friends says it all! We'll be seeing you soon. Grazie mille!

I was not expecting how beautiful this restaurant was. The outside is very unassuming, but as soon as you walk in, it is an impeccably decorated large space. it was still decorated for Christmas and it was stunning. The service is exceptional. They anticipate your needs and explain the menu in detail before you make a selection. The food was outstanding and that they have the highest quality ingredients. We will definitely be back.

Fabulous dining experience to start off the New Year! The restaurant was decorated so beautifully for the holidays! I treated my Mom and her friend out for an early dinner for New Year’s Day. I loved the Chicken Milanese with salad. My Mom enjoyed the Butternut Squash soup with mashed potatoes. Her friend loved the gnocchi’s and crème brûlée. The service was excellent thanks to Axle, James and Benjamin. The hostesses were lovely and helpful. The manager Danny stopped by to say hello too. Thanks to Kevin the bartender who always has a smile and is so kind. The music was great touch too.

Peter was welcoming as usual and treated us like family. The food was perfection as always. We had the chateaubriand steak and lobster tail. Unbelievably delicious. Thanks again for a wonderful evening!
