Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Punta Las Marias

We had the best meal at Marmalade!! The food was spectacular and the service was divine. Our waiter Santiago made us feel like celebrities, will definitely be back the next time we are in San Juan!

All of the meals were explained very nicely and the food was very unique. I would consider this modern experimental Puerto Rican cuisine at its finest. It was not noisy as some of the reviews today, but this was also a Monday night and we were inside.

My girlfriend and I went for a Valentine’s Day dinner while on vacation. Overall it was a wonderful experience, the drinks and food were top notch. We ordered the Octopus for an appetizer. Then she had the lamb for an entree while I had the rabbit with rice. She really enjoyed her lamb while I thought the rabbit rice was the best tasting rice I’ve ever eaten in my life. We both ordered a La Doña for our first drink and for our second drink the waiter suggested another drink off-menu which my girlfriend enjoyed even more. My only complaint would be that we were served paper napkins. A restaurant of this caliber should have real napkins, I know it seems silly but it really took from the experience.

Excellnr food. Needs more staff for service. Kind of loud but overall excelent experience.

We had a marvelous time at Santaella. Scored the last rez for 2 seats at the bar and were highly entertained and taken care of well extremely well by the bartending staff, who were obviously having a good time as well. Was recommended this place by a bartender in St. Thomas, and will continue to spread the good word. Cool local joint, really gets hoping after Happy Hour
