Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields.     We have been coming to Lupa for the past 18 years. Lupa Trattoria in San Francisco offers an exceptional dining experience with authentic Roman cuisine. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a relaxed meal. We were particularly impressed by the amatriciana, which was as authentic as any you’d find in Rome, with perfectly balanced flavors that showcased the traditional preparation.     We loved the welcoming staff and server. The food is delicious, and the drinks are original (not a full bar). But we were rushed toward the end of our meal because all the other patrons had left, and the staff wanted to close up. In total, we were in only for 56 min, and at 8:00 pm, we were in the street. I didn't have time to finish my drink. We will again, though.

    Always love dining at Memento. Empanadas , shishito pepper, hearts of palm orzo , flatbread are some of our faves. They also have creative cocktails. The passion fruit mousse dessert is delicious!
