Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Mason

We took our family to dinner and had a wonderful time. We had the crab cakes and calamari to start which were delicious. Then most of us had steaks were were very good too! Carrot cake and Creme brûlée were very good too! Our waiter, Jason was awesome and so were the young men helping him. Our water glasses were never empty which is important in my family. Thank you for a wonderful evening!!

Went for a date night because we received a gift card. Had already been for their amazing Happy Hour. Just going for dinner was new to us. We made reservations, had a drink at the bar and were seated quickly. The staff was spectacular!!! Food was great! Just to be constructive, if I had to point out anything that could be better….. we would like to have seen more appetizers. Very small shareable menu that would have had us there longer and spend more money. We would probably stick to Happy Hour only because we like to share stuff sometimes. The other thing…. A butter knife with the bread and butter would be awesome. It’s hard to spread butter with a steak knife. Overall, loved it.

It was my wife's 71st birthday. She had the Soy Ginger Atlantic Salmon. She loved it. I had a taste and I agreed. I had the Surf & Turf and selected the Prime Churrasco Grilled Steak and the Ahi Tuna. First, the carrots and mushrooms were delicious. The Tuna was great, especially with the ginger and horseradish sauce. The steak was a little gutty, cooked well and had a good taste overall but I wasn't overly impressed. The potatoes were good but nothing to brag about. We had a bottle of their Malbec, very nice. A little over priced and I thought there was a little too much pushing on the wine club. I was surprised that there was not even a small token desert for my wife's birthday. And when we were well into our dinner we realized that we never got any bread before dinner. Overall though I would go back, but I'll be a little more demanding. I prefer a laid back approach and expect to get great service across the board from start to finish. Our waiter was courteous prompt and we did not have to wait for anything.

We dined at 5 PM on a Friday and it was very quiet, very welcomed! Food was incredible! Fried Chicken was amazing and the Braised Short Ribs were incredible, but the carrot cake was the star of the show! Amazing venue and great food and atmosphere!

Great date night! We had the Big Oscar Filet and the Black Truffle Filet for our mains. The mushroom risotto was delicious. The house made dressings on the salads were great. The crab cake napoleon was a wonderful starter. We finished with the carrot cake and chocolate cherry cheesecake cake. Both were perfect finishers. Our waitress was perfect with drink orders and getting our food out at the perfect time. She was very social when needed. The environment was nice and enjoyable. We were able to have a conversation and enjoy our time there. Well worth the visit. Thanks Jag's!
