- SSonymirVIPNew York City •17 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe made a last minute reservation and were pleasantly greeted upon arrival. We love to sit near the fireplace, however there was not an available table in that area. Instead we were seated upstairs which was such a pleasant experience! It was much more quiet and formal. Our waiter was so kind, attentive and funny! The food was 10/10 as per usual. We enjoy the crab cake, baked clams, porterhouse for two, shishito peppers and lobster mac; it’s our “go-to” dinner. It’s always a pleasure to dine at Tellers whether it’s for a casual dinner or holiday celebration.More infoTellers: An American ChophousePrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Islip•4.8
- JJeffVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoGreat location and property. Excellent ambiance and vibe. Piano music in the pub before dinner. Decorated beautifully. Popcorn for early snack. Dinner in the timeless Steamboat room. Excellent and diverse menu. Food was very good. After dinner had a classic 60s trio band playing. Great sound. Was a great Valentine’s Day dinner. Only draw back was the service. Specifically the bar. Took forever to get a drink. Bar tender was surly with limited sense of urgency and lots of attitude. This was when the bar crowd was small. As the evening progressed it become significantly worse. I can’t imagine how much revenue was lost by the establishment due to these inefficiencies. Overall our experience was very positive.More infoThe Griswold InnPrice: Expensive• American• Essex•4.5
- SScottVIPNew York City •57 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAn absolute exquisite dining experience with incredible service, fine wines, and a wonderful cozy atmosphere. This is absolutely my favorite restaurant! Is the only place that I go where I never put anything on the steak. No salt or pepper or anything. The way it is seasoned and the way it comes is perfect every time. I’ve been going to J. Gilbert for 25 years and it’s amazing that I’ve never had to send anything back to the kitchen. They are so careful in their preparation and so precise. Such high-quality food. It’s also the restaurant I go to for every one of my birthdays!More infoJ.
