Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Doctor Phillips

Food: Amazing. Love, love , love the queso. Ordered the steak tacos platter with the flour tortillas. So great!! Always yummy. Drinks were made well and the mixed properly. Not watered down. Service: Our server Noeli ( Sorry, unsure of how to spell her name,) was absolutely AMAZING. It was Valentine’s Day weekend but we did not feel like it was at all. She was extremely communicative and very prompt. We have not experienced service this great in quite some time! Absolutely phenomenal. She deserves to be a manager and train new servers in how to execute amazing service regardless of a busy environment. Ambiance: Valentine’s Day weekend. Very busy. There was a bit of a wait even with reservations but it was lovely. There was a DJ on site and it was a great vibe.

What can I say about this place that others probably haven't already or that i may not have already. This is hands down one of the best restaurants, if not the best, in the Orlando area. Are you going to spend money here, absolutely. Is the money worth it, once again absolutely. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by a friendly, professional staff who take pride in their jobs. The tables are set perfectly and look immaculate. Within moments the staff are at table side to introduce themselves and get you started on drinks. They come with recommendations, specials, and additions. They pay attention to your questions, body language and requests. They offer alternatives, discuss changes and truly seem like they care. The food, oh the food, seriously, the attention to detail, the portion size and presentation are seriously on par with top restaurants from NY. However, the taste is something else. This food is to quote my SO, "just magical". Each course is better than the previous IMO. I order extra if things sometimes "off menu" if they have it just to bring home. I order two sometimes, so I do not have to share. As well, the accordion player walking to each table to play a song is such a classy and sweet touch. Finally, the manager comes and touches each table to speak to the guests. It creates a warmth and a sense of older restaurants where you want to slow down and savor each moment. I honestly cannot say enough.

We were accommodated private seating on the busiest day of the year. The service was phenomenal. Special thanks to Savannah for working with me on the reservation. Extra special thanks to Amanda for the outstanding service. It was definitely what made our entire evening memorable and one for the books. Thank you a hundred times over!

From the time we got out of our car and walked up to the restaurant like the way the restaurant looked very nice very clean. Our table wasn’t ready yet. We sat in the bar area. Had a drink. Very nice cozy called us about 15 minutes later our table was ready. Very nice restaurant tentative people took care of us. Food was excellent quality of the food was excellent really no downside noise level was a minimal considering there was a lot of people in a restaurant for Valentine’s Day. It was just a nice experience.

Service was fantastic-request Eddie who was our server! Victoria was the floor manager who was so kind to come over to our table to greet us and took care of a slight issue with our steaks -no complaints though as we couldn’t have been more pleased with the hospitality of Victoria, Eddie and the entire wait staff. The food was superb! Filet mignon, mushrooms and French onion soup were out of this world! Thank you Ruth Chris staff of Orlando!
