Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Downers Grove

Our entrées were excellent, and large enough that we were each able to bring a portion home. We each had some variety of steak, all delicious, and one of our party had the French onion soup, which she loved. We sampled four different desserts and they were all great. This was a celebration dinner for us, and it could not have been more perfect.

Antico Posto never disappoints. The fresh crusty bread and olive and cheese dip are reliably good as a starter. The entrees are beautifully prepared. We love the pistachio crusted whitefish and the traditionally prepared eggplant Parmesan. Looking around the other tables many diners were enjoying the pasta dishes as well as the individual pizzas. The tiramisu is a great dessert to share. We love the warm clubby feel.

This place was packed. It felt like a true steakhouse experience over the holidays. Service is excellent. Food is wonderful. Me son loved the lamb chops. The white fish is actually an excellent price point and I think tasted better than the miso cod (too sweet for my taste).  The service is excellent and we are always treated like royalty. Wonderful birthday dinner. The entire family loved it. Thank you Gibsons for always delivering !!

They NEVER fail to deliver. Outstanding service, food and atmosphere. They take great pride in ensuring that your night is terrific and memorable. I've been going there for years and it's top notch. Yes, there are other great places near here, and having been to all, this is the place I come back to time and time again. If you have some reservations in Oak Brook area, change your plans and go here!

I haven’t been to Parker’s in a long time and was I pleasantly surprised how great our food was. Everything from our service, food and atmosphere couldn’t have been better. Ordered the Seafood salad and the shrimp were huge and the crab was delicious. I’m definitely going back for dinner as we went for lunch. Was just so enjoyable to have such a relaxed and tasty lunch. Parker’s is back!!!!
