Best Neighbourhood Gem Restaurants in Collegeville

This was the first time we ate out for Thanksgiving. Farmhouse restaurant is very quaint and small and cozy. Especially with the fireplace on. That said the stage for all the delicious food that they served from our appetizers of roasted brussels sprouts, cheese spread, and calamari. to the turkey dinners, salmon, and delicious crabcakes. Everything was wonderful.

We were impressed with the Thanksgiving prix fixe meal. The food quantity and quality were very good. The service and atmosphere were also impressive. Only one negative was the food temperature. The soup and main meal were not warm. Everything else was so good it was easy to overlook that issue.

I was at first taken back by the BYOB but in the end it only added to the value of the experience. Staff was well trained and executed all the steps of service flawlessly. The food was amazing! The plate presentation was detailed and exquisite. It made the food jump off the plate and into your mouth. This restaurant exceeded our expectations 10 fold. Great job!

We were greeted, seated and then treated to a lovely dining experience. We started with a couple of the specialty cocktails-Romarin and Nouveau Basilic: their pour was generous as our drinks lasted through our meals. A bonus of a basket of bread was brought to our table, such a rarity! Baguette, sourdough and what seamed a seasonal bread with cranberry and walnuts with beurre---seemed such a treat! Our waiter was attentive and made well informed dinner suggestions after asking us our preferences and we enjoyed the beef bourguignon; duck a l'orange and roasted chicken. Parc has made our top 10 list of places to eat while in Philly!

When ever we dine at Firebirds in Cllegeville we receive excellent service and delicious food. This evening Corey was our waitor and he did a great job. Thank you management.
