Butterjoint is a comfy bar and restaurant located in North Oakland. Our welcoming and eclectic atmosphere is appropriate for almost any occasion - whether it be meeting a friend for a drink, celebrating an important event, or relaxing after work. It was a busy evening before Christmas, but the staff was hustling . We ordered wine, and had a wonderful, knowledgeable man assist with our choice. We enjoyed his spending time with us, talking about his favorite wines. Food and staff were great, even on a busy holiday evening!

Soba lounge is excellent. We had two apps, three different entrees and 2 desserts and each was packed with flavor and beautifully plated. I recommend the rare tuna entree, the mushrooms on the appetizers - and the chocolate maki.
