Aunt Jake's Pasta Making Experience – A Must-Try! We had the absolute best time at Aunt Jake’s for their pasta-making experience! From start to finish, the night was a mix of laughter, learning, and of course, delicious food. Anthony, our instructor, was nothing short of amazing! His energy was contagious, and he made the whole process feel effortless. He had us kneading, rolling, and shaping dough like pros in no time. Anthony’s patience and passion for pasta truly set the tone for the evening. Whether you’re a seasoned cook or can barely boil water, he made sure everyone was comfortable and having fun. He had this way of blending humor with technique, so while we were creating these perfect little pasta shapes, we were also cracking up at his stories and tips. When we finally got to taste the creations? Pure heaven. Fresh, flavorful, and made even better knowing we crafted it ourselves. If you're looking for a unique, hands-on experience that leaves you full and smiling, Aunt Jake's is the place to be. Our meal was very good. We only had a party of two, which is a bit of a challenge for a restaurant where food is served family-style. For most people, an entree can easily serve two people. If you are light eaters, perhaps even three. We shared a chicken scalloping in lemon butter sauce ($32). The chicken was very tender, and the sauce was good enough to dip bread in. The dish also had a bed of sautéed spinach below the chicken. We also shared a mixed greens salad ($30) which was HUGE. It could easily serve 4 people. The salad was a nice mixture of greens with tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, pepperoncinis, and olives in their house Italian dressing. My only complaint is why they would put pitted olives in a salad. Not that hard to pick out and eat individually, but it would be possible to scoop one up with some lettuce and bite into it without knowing. The servers seemed to work very hard, though the number of tables they had meant it was a tad slow. The vibe was very good, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. We will definitely keep Carmine’s on our list for future New York trips, especially if we are in groups larger than two.

Axia is a great for both small and large parties or a quiet evening for datenight service food and ambiance are top notch.

You can never go wrong eating at Capital Grille. The food is always outstanding and the waiters are remarkable. We’ve eaten at other locations in different states but to us the Paramus location is the best. I had the New England Clam Chowder soup, the Lobster salad. My husband had the French Onion soup and the Steak Frites . We finished our meal with the cheesecake. Everything was absolutely delicious!
