- DDavidvipPittsburgh / Western PA •96 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoMorcilla is my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh because the food is always delicious. I always have the octopus, which has never been disappointing. This time, I tried the gildas, which blended wild anchovies with olives. Really tasty. I had the beef tatar, which everyone In our group thought was one of the best they have had. Lynn's gin and tonic could turn a McDonald's hamburger into a gourmet meal. Like all restaurants these days, the sound level is on the high side, and the ambiance is more like a busy European bistro. The service is attentive, and the dishes come out as they are ready, so nothing has been sitting, waiting to be picked up.More infoMorcillaPrice: Very Expensive• Spanish• Lawrenceville•4.9

- NNancyPittsburgh / Western PA •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoThe pasta dishes were superb, as was the salad with lump crab meat and avocado. The panini, however, was disappointing. The bread was two slabs of thick, Texas-style bread, and the filling was very thick. Along with the Italian meats and cheese, there was shredded lettuce. If it was cooked on a Panini Press, the chef/cook forgot to close and press it. Obviously, whoever made the Panini has never been to Italy.More infoCasbahPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Shadyside•4.8
- LLezziePittsburgh / Western PA •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoHad an excellent dinner here while in town for a conference as this was located in our hotel. Menu was diverse but also had some staple items which is nice when travelling. I enjoyed the Lumpia appetizer and the Egyptian entree, both very tasting and well presented. The cocktails were well crafted and the server friendly and personable. Thank you for a nice dinner!More infoChristian James at The Joinery, Curio Hotel by HiltonPrice: Moderate• International• Downtown•3.9
