- CChristinaNew Orleans / Louisiana •39 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe normally go for dinner at Moderne Barn which we enjoy greatly but today we went for lunch which did not disappoint. We shared two sandwiches. The Cuban panini and the honey glazed fried chicken sandwich. They were both delicious. Staff was wonderful and we saw Dominick who we normally see in the evenings behind the bar. Also shout out to Marissa the general manager who was at the front door and greeted us. Great Job.More infoModerne BarnPrice: Moderate• Unspecified• Armonk•4.6
- HHowardNew York City •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoI was here for Valentine’s dinner, my reservation was for 6:45 got there 6:40 and was sealed immediately. The waitress was very attentive. The food quality was very good, from appetizers to dessert. It was a little pricey but didn’t mind because service, food quality and ambiance were all good.More infoRed Hat on the RiverPrice: Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Irvington•4.6
- KKiranVIPNew York City •158 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoWe don't usually do Valentine's Day dinner but we are longtime fans of Chef Peter Kelly's culinary skills, innovative menus, great cocktails, and fabulous service, and had been to Basso 56 before but have been wanting to try Chef Kelly's new location. So this seemed like a great excuse to check it and it did NOT disappoint. Great wine list, exciting cocktail menu, awesome service, and amazing and innovative menu but yet able to accommodate 2 dietary restrictions in our party of 4 without a problem or hesitation. And Chef Kelly made the rounds in the dining room twice during our meal and was as friendly and gracious as always. Sorry no pictures but everything was presented beautifully and absolutely delicious. Salads were fresh and light, grilled octopus was terrific, shrimp with truffle special appetizer was outstanding, branzino was cooked perfectly, all the pastas are made in-house and delicious, and while not on the menu, they made a cacio e pepe for one of our guests who had a dietary need and it was outstanding, especially since it was a very busy night. We will definitely be back soon!More infoBasso56Price: Expensive• Italian• Chappaqua•4.6

- AAlanVIPNew York City •58 reviews4.0Dined on 3 Feb 2025Went for Monday Pasta Night prix fixe@$45. Great service, friendly and very attentive. The appetizers were delicious and plentiful. The pasta was just ok: cavatelli with duck ragu lacked flavor, tasted like it could have been made with ground turkey-no “oomph.” The spaghetti with clams and chili crisp was swimming in chili oil, tasty but too wet. Chocolate rocky road cheesecake was more like a thick mousse, but was tasty - albeit a bit too sweet. Not sure I think this is a “good” value, when you add in the wine (3glasses for two of us) and tax and tip the bill still comes to $165, for a pasta entree. I Love the ambience of this place, and it always has a very attractive crowd, just wish it was a bit less expensive.More infoTroutbeckPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Amenia•4.5
