- AAlexandreVancouver / British Columbia •19 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoTop-notch French-inspired cuisine. On par with what I would find at a good Montreal restaurant. I had heard ups and downs since Chef Feenie took over but the meal we had was better than Lumiere. We shared a burrata salad with local beets -- nothing otherworldly but fresh ingredients and tasty. Also shared the hamachi crudo which is apparently award-winning, and I can see why. I had one of the best duck breasts I have had in my life, with seared foie gras accompaniment to boot. My friend had the veal with morel sauce. Both were really top-notch. We sat at the bar and had very friendly and attentive service. Wine list is relatively small for this type of restaurant, and the bottom end of the price range is missing. We had the sommelier suggest a bottle of low-intervention burgundy which suited our food well. Atmosphere is very classic and not too loud. Overall a classy restaurant perfect for a business meeting, tete-a-tete, or a special occasion when you want to hear each other talk!More infoLe CrocodilePrice: Very Expensive• French• Downtown•4.7

The food we had was excellent. My husband had the steak and lobster and said it was the best lobster he's had.More infoThe Keg Steakhouse + Bar - YaletownPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Yaletown•4.5

- RRenaVancouver / British Columbia •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe enjoyed a beautiful meal and terrific drinks, and the friendliest service! Impressed! Our first visit to West Oak and we sat on the patio, which despite being chilly & rainy outside was cozy & comfortable -- and quieter than the main dining room. Appreciated the gluten-free options and the knowledgeable, caring servers. A special rave for the GF calamari - a fantastic appetizer that came with a generous green salad on the side, perfectly dressed. Our reservation was for 6:15 pm -- on the early side -- which worked out well for us as it was only at around 8:30 pm (as we were wrapping up) that the noise level on the enclosed patio became too much for a three-way conversation. The place was hopping at that point!More infoWestOak RestaurantPrice: Moderate• Seafood• Yaletown•4.7
- DDarlenevipVancouver / British Columbia •15 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThis restaurant is located on the edge of Yaletown and easy to find. We walked from the Fairmont Waterfront (20 mins) and found it with ease. We were attending the Bruce Springsteen concert, which was on a Friday night, so it was good we had a reservation. I'm not too sure about the parking as we walked or would have taken an Uber. This place was bumpin (Friday night and a concert) and had a great atmosphere! We checked in and were called once our table was ready. We were seated by the friendly hostess, close to the pizza oven, which was very cool and watched them prepare and toss the pizza dough. Our server was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The menu has a variety of starters, mains and shareables. We started with a Ceasars salad (the dressing was fantastic) you could taste the freshness with a hint of anchovies. We ordered the 8oz filet with their amazing chimichurri and sided it with an order of their lobster/ crab ravioli (which was spectacular) and split everything. It was the perfect portion and not too heavy. We were happy with our restaurant choice and the food items we order. I would definitely love to come back and try more of their menu items and recommend this experience at Per Se Social Corner on Homer St, in Vancouver.
