Best Hot Spot Restaurants in Carolina

The food was very good. We had an issue with service being very slow, but the manager was very attentive and rectified the situation. We would still recommend this restaurant. Service issues do happen from time to time, even at the best restaurants.

All of the meals were explained very nicely and the food was very unique. I would consider this modern experimental Puerto Rican cuisine at its finest. It was not noisy as some of the reviews today, but this was also a Monday night and we were inside.

We were fortunate enough to have the opportunity to sit and experience the bar. The service and attentiveness of Israel and Hector was top notch. Their craft cocktails were truly works of art and were AMAZING! Nothing like I have ever had anywhere before. The small plates of fish and chips (aka yucca fries) were phenomenal along with the octopus which was so tender, not to mention the star of the show, the seabass. No evening would be complete without a little sweet and the goat cheese flan was legendary. One of our favorite places to go when in San Juan. If you are looking for upscale Puerto Rican dishes or just an upscale dining experience- look no further.

We had a marvelous time at Santaella. Scored the last rez for 2 seats at the bar and were highly entertained and taken care of well extremely well by the bartending staff, who were obviously having a good time as well. Was recommended this place by a bartender in St. Thomas, and will continue to spread the good word. Cool local joint, really gets hoping after Happy Hour

Wow the rooftop setting is breathtaking, what a unique experience watching the full moon rise as we enjoyed our meal. Juan our waiter was attentive and friendly so we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Both the seafood fettuccine and salmon entrees were delicious. And again the rooftop is not to be missed for incredible views of Puerto Rico and the night sky!
