It obviously attracts a lot of tourists, but the staff did not seem annoyed and were helpful and friendly with suggestions pertaining to the menu and to also local places to visit. - PPeterGreater Boston •4 reviews5.0Dined on 24 Dec 2024As on previous visits Mare was great.. We started with fresh oysters. We had the waiter pick for us and he did an excellent job. My wife the pasta with mushrooms which she loved. I had the sword fish which was cooked perfectly, nice and moist. We shared an affogato for dessert, one of our favorites. Our server was pleasant, helpful and efficient. The evening was perfect.More infoMarePrice: Expensive• Italian• North End•4.6
- BBridgetGreater Boston •8 reviews5.0Dined on 23 Dec 2024Delicious!! Tight quarters with the tables but that’s every North end restaurant. Delicious food and drinks but they don’t serve desert. Need to go to their bakery next door but given it was Christmas Eve Eve, there were lines out of every bakery door!! Good service and not bad prices. They have valet ($30) but didn’t realize and my husband dropped us off and parked in the lot down the street. They won’t seat you until your full party is together. Overall would definitely recommend.More infoTrattoria Il PaninoPrice: Moderate• Italian• North End•4.5
