Tasty food, large portions and served hot. Service is very attentive but without feeling rushed. Great choice of vegetarian dishes and serving cauliflower rice instead of standard rice is a bonus. In fact, it is probably the best tasting cauliflower rice I have ever had.

we went for valentine’s day, they had a live singer who was using our table but they quickly sorted us out with a new one, the singer really added to the atmosphere. we both ordered the chicken parm burger which can with some chips, it was lovely!! Service was great! Was in and out within an hour- food came in 15 mins. I’ve been before to Bear for the Brunch menu and always enjoyed it and the evening menu is just as special. Would recommend. Portions do run the tiniest bit small (i’m not completely stuffed at the end)

We decided to have the 5 course tasting menu as we are older and felt daunted by the idea of 10 courses. This was an excellent decision. With all the delicious snacks and nibbles in the bar before and after the main meal, 5 courses were ample for us. We’ve never had such delicious food. Every mouthful was a delight, in taste and texture. It was such a great experience, which we will never forget. The service was also excellent, staff being friendly and attentive throughout, arriving promptly and explaining every dish. We also had the wine pairing and can highly recommend that - fabulous wines and again excellent descriptions of each. Everything was perfect.

Second time at Alora and we tried the Sunday roast. Was the best roast we have ever had. Great value for money and good quantity. Lovely service and made to feel very special (on my birthday). Will definitely be visiting again soon
