We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. My partner and I came here for his birthday and we were very pleased with the food, but mostly the service. I had asked them if it was possible to store a birthday cake (context: my partner and I have used the caterpillar cakes as our bday cake every year) to surprise my partner , and they happily approved the request. They were very accommodating! Our waitress was also very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. Very impressed! Recommended food: Pizzetta ‘Nduja

One of the best meals out I’ve had in ages. Blacklock might be my new favourite Manchester restaurant. I loved everything about it - low key, unpretentious but such high-quality. Friendly staff, efficient service. It’s really excellent.
