This has to be the best tasting menu this year by a long way

The set menu was lovely. Would be nice if it were also inclusive of vegetables as that really adds to the cost. Took two people who had never been before and they were impressed.

The host who seated us was very informative with suggestion about the portion sizes and menu options. Our waitress was great my drink was always topped up and checked with us and the beginning and end of our main meal and dessert. We had the fondue for 2 which, whilst very overpriced, was amazing with the fire to roast the marshmallow and the chocolate dip for the fruit was out of this world. The honey butter boneless chicken and chips both cooked with MSG were the best I’d ever tasted. Outstanding place

Service and food fantastic. Wonderful ambience. Only moan it is a bit expensive, ordering the small dish scallops which comprised of 2 scallops and cost £18 was a trifle steep. Rest of dishes much better value. The beef fillet, lamb and bass glorious. There were 4 of us and had 4 small dishes, 3 large, 2 sides. It was lovely to have coffee in the downstairs lounge afterwards. Highly recommend but for us a special occasion place.
