- PPatrinaBrisbane •4 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoI made a last minute booking with my two young, very tired children as we were staying in the area whilst on holidays. The express menu available until 6pm was very reasonable (2 courses for 26 pounds) and they were flexible in adding fries to the fish for the children rather than potatoes. My steak was excellent and cooked exactly how I wanted it - better than any I have had in a while. Overall, very happy with our experience.More infoHawksmoor EdinburghPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Edinburgh•4.5
- CCraigEdinburgh/Midlothian •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoMy wife and I went along with a voucher for a Sunday roast and were not disappointed. We both had gazpacho to start which was so light and fresh - the perfect way to start a roast dinner meal. Followed up with roast beef, which we had pink although the choice of having it cooked through was offered, we enjoyed ours pink. A lovely plate of veg and perfect gravy accompanied it, and I followed up with some churros which were excellent. I can recommend the Camden pale ale and my wife really enjoyed the white Rioja. Overall we had a great time - the decor is lovely, we had a great booth table, and the background chatter was the perfect level to make you feel at home and fit in with the ambience yet still be able to hold your own conversation. We interacted with a number of staff but unfortunately I can't remember names but all of them were friendly and fun, happy to have a quick chat and always there to answer any questions. Service was perfectly paced so much that we ate a good amount of food yet still left without feeling stuffed - not often the case these days, but I was very impressed. I'd always looked at the prices and thought it was in the high side which maybe put me off a bit but having the voucher encouraged me to go and now I see that actually the prices are less off putting now I've had a positive experience there.More infoThe Spanish Butcher - EdinburghPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• New Town•4.7

- CCalumLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoFirst time visiting the Whiski Rooms, but certainly won’t be the last. Great service, extensive Whisky menu and although not an extensive wine selection, the Primitivo we chose was excellent and complemented our dinner choices of Haggis Spring Rolls (incredible) Lamb Shoulder and Venison Loin (also amazing!). Great service, great ambience and the quality of the food speaks for itself as well as the portions being generous. We had a lovely and romantic evening at Whiski Rooms and look forward to visiting again in the future.More infoWhiski RoomsPrice: Moderate• Scottish• Old Town•4.6
