Best Historic Restaurants in Woodhaven

We had such a beautiful evening at Frances Tavern!! I highly recommend this cool restaurant. Upstairs is a museum with so much to see and learn. The history of this building is incredible!! The atmosphere is just amazing, really warm and inviting. The entire staff were really friendly and helpful. The food and drinks were absolutely delicious!!!! If you are visiting or live in NYC I highly recommend this tavern.

Our server Kelly was the best! Friendly and attentive without being overly being so. She went above and beyond when they comped a dessert AND added a free one because it came out late. The ambiance was great. Food was good but the overall experience was capped by her welcome attention to detail and genuine friendliness. Thanks and will definitely be back in the future here! The fish branzini and steak was perfect! Thanks for making our small reunion memorable.

Once again, a delicious meal at Neir's Tavern. This time we went for brunch. Besides the great live jazz duo, the food was delicious. I ordered the Madame Croquette, an item limited to the brunch menu. It was delicious. My husband ordered the breakfast burger, also delicious. He topped it off with an order of hot, fresh pretzels, soft enough to break and dunk into his honey mustard dip. Each brunch comes with a free drink, another great feature of brunch. We ordered the mimosa and aperol spritz. Definitely a must visit place. Dine once, and you will be back!

outstanding experience! we have been coming to Emily WV since it opened. While the food has alwys been stellar, service has steadily declined…until this visit. Our server was outstanding and made our evening very enjoyable.
