Best Historic Restaurants in Towson

We had the most excellent dinner last night at The Valley Inn. We got a res on Opentable and sat in a lovely area near the outdoor bar. We had kids with us, so the relaxed seating was very appreciated. From service to food to atmosphere, everything was top notch. We are pescatarian and there were many options. We had the fried green tomatoes, Caesar salad and shrimp scampi, and my picky 7 year old had pasta from the kids menu (shells) which were truly delicious. I feel like they are doing something really special with the menu or in the kitchen because both pastas were top 5 best ever in my culinary history. We didn’t stay for dessert but wine and cocktails were excellent with plenty of non alcoholic options. Our server, Aidan was amazing and we really need to shout out chef Manny for such a wonderful experience. We will be back!!

I was very impressed by the spin they put on the traditional brunch items. Loved the menu overall. Waitress was just wonderful and knowledgeable. The dessert menu was right out of my “Great British Baking Show” dreams. Oysters were delicious. We will be going back there wasn’t enough time or room in my stomach to try everything I wanted.

Brittany our waitress made a great restaurant, an over the top experience! She was very sociable, had great suggestions on the menu & just made the dinner a great night. We never waited for anything, she was on top of everything. She made a “10” restaurant a “20”! All of our food was perfectly cooked. The drinks were great. Her wine suggestion was incredible! Food and drinks were AMAZING!! Priced very budget friendly. Had a table of 12 for my Birthday and it was a blast! Ambience was perfect.Definitely recommend
