Best Historic Restaurants in Newport Beach

Food is excellent, but it's time to change up some menu items .

Food and service was good. I don't understand why your guests bring toddlers and months old babies into your restaurant when they are dinning. You should encourage your guests to leave small children at home.

Just great. We were celebrating my daughters engagement. We were served a complementary very large piece of ice cream cake. So appreciated. The food was outstanding as usual and the serving was impeccable. We are planning on returning often as it’s hard to beat the food, prices, and service and ambiance!!

This is a great restaurant. From the moment we walked in and were greeted with very kind friendly people to the awesome waiter, the delicious food and the beautiful view. We came when it was already dark and wish we would have come a bit earlier to see it during the day! My husband and I split the halibut and wasn’t sure when we first looked at it. It was in a lot of red sauce but the first bite was so so good and I’m so glad we got that fish! All the other meals looked great too. We came with a large group, needing two tables and they worked very hard to put us right together. I would definitely come again!

Dining at the Beachcomber is always an outstanding experience. The food is absolutely delicious from the clam chowder to the lobster roll or mahi mahi tacos to the beignets. All the staff are welcoming and friendly. They take the time to make sure everything is what you expected. Beyond that, you can’t find a better ambiance or view than on the beach in Crystal Cove. The Beachcomber is one of my absolute favorite places to dine in Orange County.
